I don't understand why private jets and other planes are not banned from going over the city. London you're not allowed you have to go down the teems (sp). Some American tit flying a plane in New York and doesn't even know how to use the instruments...

I dont think they fly directly over New York but there is a flightpath either side of Manhattan... not forgetting JFK which aint far away so you can't exclude planes for 10000 miles really...

People there would shit tho and you can't blame them - after all at first people thought the first plane to hit the trade towers was an accident - some even thought that was only a small plane - and look how that panned out..

i'm all for being casious when a fat ass 747 go awol. but when theres a small plane like that -with a engine falure at that-

it tends to go over the top. i mean, part from a few broken windows it didnt do to much damage to that building it crashed to..

Ok then here's some...

Terrorist crash planes and it's captured by a gazillion cameras all over the place and with great picture quality. A baseball star crashes his plane and it's only caught by a cost guard camera miles and miles away.

Hmmm?

Terrorist crash into the twin towers and there's not a military jet to be found anywhere. A baseball star has an accident and NORAD dispatches patrols to most major cities.
