PL & Lag

I played in a league game last night at 9pm for Kudos and the server was absolutely atrocious. Brother were spiking all over the place, I was lagging every 20 seconds, all our team were experiencing high latency.
I went on a number of other servers after the game thinking it was my ADSL connection but all were fine, including a BW 1v1 server.
Also after talking to numerous other people they were all in agreement that the servers were well dodgy last night.

The server in question we played on I think was League Server 7.
Even the admin was in agreement that the server was bolloxed.
The only reason we played on was because it was happening to both teams so noone had an unfair advantage.

So what gives Barrysworld?

I Live on the Isle of Man and we use a product called Manxnet Homesurfer, it goes through Manchester and then onto where ever the server is located.

It just seems weird that the 1v1 server was fine & dandy at 11pm but at 9-10pm on the league server I was in PL hell for all the game.

I could believe it was a routing problem if it was just me experiencing problems, but both teams were getting lots of PL & high latency.
