Just got a email that its open beta now so thinking about giveing it a try when i get internet at home!!!

I've been in the beta for some time. Imo it does not feel like a mmo, its just a series of instances. Shipcombat is fun tho.

Well ofc its worth to download and test If you enjoy economics it has a very promising system. I will most likely buy it a few months after release. It just feels like it has to many glitches and stuff atm. But by all means, download and test beta and decide for yourself what you think about it

i played it and thought it was ok.

b2 was planning to get it but with work and studies etc we really dont want the evil temptation of playing pirates 23 hrs a day lol

Tried it out a couple of weeks ago (a weekend stresstest or something), didnt like it at all. It felt more like the old Amiga Pirates online then an mmo and i had my hopes up for a good pirates mmo
It got some potential but its more Guildwars mmo then DAoC mmo

didnt really like it myself, it has nice combat but its very instanced (moreso than eve online) and has a pretty shallow enviroment tbh
