Help Pink Piss

I was hugely alarmed when I took a piss earlier to find it was bright pink.

A quick google revealed a whole manner of scary things that involved 'seeking medical attention' and some serious disorders like kidney failure/infection/disease. I felt fine, no pain, it didn't look like blood, my piss earlier was fine; just pink urine like I had pissed rosé wine into the toilet. I thought I imagined it, so I drank some water and waited until I needed to go again.

Same thing, pink piss.

Then I thought about what I ate for dinner. The only think I could think of was that I scoffed a rather large portion of beetroot which I love. It turns out (after further googling) that large amounts of beetroot turn your piss pink.

So, if you do a pink piss and you've eaten beetroot, don't panic and think you're going to die like i did .

Beetroot indeed does that, but IF you haven't eaten beetroot(which id suggest trying), pink piss also means small amount of bloodcells in ya piss.

That would be a doc visit ofcourse.

Beetroot pink piss, and blood pink piss are two quite significantly different colours and easily identifiable. Ribena will also turn your wee pink if you drink enough of it, as will blackberries. Asparagus makes wee smell very odd. Its incredible what wee can tell you!
