It's a paper-animal filled with sweets (which the kids has to break etc). It's a spanish/mexican (?) tradition

it's spanish, but comes from the italian word pignatta which is a pinecone-shaped clay pot.

Heh tbh I thought it was some quite derisory slang spanish word. Hehe, but in a way now I know he was meaning that to be that way, someone asked me last week if I could double up as one and without knowing what it meant i replied i doubt it (good call imo) to which he replied i was useless lol :)
