Pi$$ed off with the cheating........

The game type might have sucked some in most peoples eyes, but 'jail' is far from one of the worst maps ever

It has the perfect ambience for a cs map, expansive areas, many different strats and routes. It's only flaws were the gametype and the quick route from the rear for the ct's to burst in round the back, which im sure could have been tweaked out.

if u go here u can get 5.2 with the HL downgrader and u can have 1.3 and 5.2 installed. Just put 5.2 in a diff directory

Theres only a few 5.2 servers around and they lag quite a bit as most are from sweeden but they are definately good

Ahh, yeah! That Goldeneye map was a corker.

All the T's camping at the end of the corridor area behind the auto doors. That was fun.

That Goldeneye map was called Facility and shooting campers in the toilet was too much fun

I cant believe peoples trust / naivety in cheating matters. Servers are full of cheats once we get past a certain time at night. CS has always been hacked up - possibly the worst game ever for cheating. Skin hacks (I once saw someone playing with the helicopter model from Oilrig), Invisibility, Wallhacks, No Recoil, Aim hacks, flashbang hacks, you name it, CS has it. The worst thing atm tho is these multi hacks that come with a config. Turn your aim off and on, tap F to clear flashbang, wallhack enabled etc. Multi hacks make a poor player look a fool, but make a good player - God Like, especially if he is devious enough not to do anything stupid. Why or why cant CS have an in-eyes spec mode? This always helped in QW and Q2 when ppl tried to rumble an aimbotter...infact it made it easy to spot.

Valve and Punkbuster WILL be working together I hear, which I for one am glad about. CS can be a fun game, but paranoia and genuine cheats have made it a joke.

Cheating is a problem in C.S and Im know there are some fantastic players out there.
Some of the best games Ive had on BW servers, are at night when the 'kiddies' are kicked off their mummies computers and sent to bed.
For God's sake lads..... if we all shouted about the cheating a bit more, more would be done to stop it.

p.s I used to play on the Gamesinferno servers, who introduced 'Punkbuster' in the last few months of its life.
In my mind it made a huge diffrence to the game play, perhaps most of it was peace of mind but most of the players who were 'suspect' did not use the servers again and a few were banned.
