Easiest way (like someone mentioned above) is just to kill the pet master :)

Doesn't always work. Bastards like me click the stealther and then attack to make sure agro won't take :)

Aint working m8, I usually insta a hunter pet but it refuse to bother about the hunter pet attacking it.

I'd kill for Vanish personal, infil can double PA, 700 and another 700 can kill just about anything nearly, just cause it doesn't work against pet classes, its still uber.

I don't mind it tbh, gives casters a chance against stealthers.

i don't mind any pet classes breaking my stealth, yes its as anooying as hell, but i normall survive due to snaring the pet as i run and making it away to a far enough distance so that i can kill pet without its master interfering.

keep it in the game its one of the only benefit pet classes get.

I went into BG0 with my animist yesterday on Prywden and went to MB, i set up lots of tanglers and then one started to cast, it had rooted a stealther, i hadn't seen him but the tangler had. I think this is very fair as it's the only defense a caster has against a stealther, my pets can't move (neither can the enemy once rooted :p) but still having mobile pets see through stealth is a good thing as seriously, how often do casters beat assasin classes without having to use a RA?

Having played a number of stealther and pet classes, I think it's fair that a pet should follow and attack someone who restealths.

However I do think it's a bit over the top that they should follow forever. I reckon the pet should have to be within visible range of it's owner to follow and attack people (about 3000 units from what I remember) and that it should apply whether a target is visible or not.
