Very sorry to hear about your pet m8 its not at all nice
A few years ago my german shepherd's back legs went and I had to have her put down, and it was truly heartbreaking.Then our other dog, a terrier had epilepsy and went into a fit he couldnt come out of, and i had to take him to be put to sleep at midnight in the car still fitting.
These days we have a new german shepherd, we've had her since she was six weeks old and is now five, and one day she'll go too, but I guess you have to appreciate them when they're here, becuase they're gone so fast

Thanks for all the kind words (even Perps).
We have burried him today in the garden and made a little grave for him.
It hadn't been to much of a shock about a month ago we found out he was suffering from heart failure with a pulse of 140bps but his blood was cicrulating to slowly and fluids were leaking into his lungs. They gave him some drugs which brought him back to normal but then in the last week he had been falling over and had basically wasted away. We took him to the vet friday and his internal organs were beginning to shut down. Fortunately I was at work at the time, I don't envy making the decision to put him to sleep while his looking at you.
