Peoples views on a reaver in rvr

det4(+) + caped magic resists + ra resists + resist buffs + cc time fall off from center = ruins the game for the CCers kinda, it hurts the bard who got only 1 form of CC, hurts the sorc who is wearing cloth, hurts healers too..... No CC + MA completley destroys casters fun in rvsr aswell, even hibs doing tank grps nowdays. Though ppl not playing a CC class in daoc NOW or enjoying their fotm savage / high determ tank wont agree with that. Have to admit that it wasnt fair when stealthers wtfpwned everyone, then casters heaven, but the current Tankalot sux aswell, but soon it will be nerfed just like it was with stealthers/casters prolly and maybe we can see some sort of balanced rvsr at last. (hope dies last yes...)

About the topic: reaver is a nice class, good abilities etc etc but doesnt have access to cheap tank ras especially determ, which makes them just like the all casters/friar/valewalker/champion/thane in an rvsr grp... good addition, but not needed. (k not all classes above are good addition, when did i see a thane in rvsr ?

Infils ruin the game for a limited size of population (mainly for other stealthers), savages on the other hand... well as they cant kill their own realmmates, they just fuck up the game for hibs and albs.

Agree.. My Savage isent even rr5 yet and still able to have purge,aom2,det4 and with that I dont stand still for very long if I get mezzed thats for sure.

Hmm have you actually played a Reaver in Emain??

I have uncoverd like 5 stealthers since i started to RvR..

The pulses are like 8 seconds... easy to avoid....

And there hardly Assasin pwners cos;

A) LA/CD Vs sheild has a huge bonus
B) Slamming a buffed NS/SB is near impossible
C) Most NS/SB's are buffed

Buffed reaver seem good for solo, not done it myself but i fighted some and when they buffbotted they are damn hard

remove det 4 and 5 and make it more expensive like 2-6-12 ?

IMO keep current cost of det but reduce to 10% per level. Most people will get det 3 or 4 for about the same effect as det 2/3 now.
