Not sure how they're doing it, dying and then being able to stay in near entrance of Tor and not getting booted out. It's obvious at the end of the scenario as they get decent XP but next to no damage done (mostly done with them falling into the lava so under 1K).

Anyone know if GOA are actively banning these people? it completely ruins the scenario if there's even a couple of them. :kissit:

I used the in game report but no idea if that's the correct method, I'm damn tempted to name the idiot involved but won't to protect his guild (who I've spoken to).

Sick of these idiots pulling stunts like this although it should be easy to detect/boot them.

they should have the 2min afk rule in effect all the time. Wont be dealing with no leechers then.

just seems like a complete waste of time to afk in a scenario, you get very littel rp's and exp and just anoy everyone else in there.

SO when it comes to you needing help on somthing much larger your suddenly going to find noone willing to help you out.

Also must it take like 10 times longer to level than if you actually participated, going to be fun to see them at 40 and not have a clue of how to play their toon.

The debuff area seems to be pretty small, you can easily circumvent it and stay safe. It should probably apply to the entire safe area of bases. That actually would have some helpful effects for people that guard hug in scenarios too.

Yea I think thats pretty common, people are getting incredibly paranoid about it, if you stop for more than 2 seconds near the spawn people are crying about it atm on KEP

A lot of the time on Karak hIRN U JOIN Ton Arroc Que just as u leave it and a LOT of the time u aint even handed in the repeatable quests by time the next BG is up.. so hard to go Loo between bg's :) Joining other Que's normally takes a few mins at leastto get into them. :( and then ussually they last quiet a while to get decent exp.. which u can get in T.A in half the time due to 500 pnts cap being hit a lot quicker.

We're not talking about afk for a couple of mins guys, we're talking about being afk for all of it, continually rejoining to afk.

happening less, but personally if your AFK for more than 30sec in a scenario you should be booted, you're essentially useless for that period to your team and they only last 15mins tops.

Yes, but occasionally people knock on the door, the phone rings or we need to use the bathroom etc. If this happens people believe we are trying to AFK the whole scenario and start crying about it.

While I can understand your point somewhat, it's unfair to expect people to focus 100% on the game for the entire scenario, not everyone plays like that.

But it is not like you can't enter again later when you have time again. And a scenario is max 15 minutes - so if people can't focus 100% for 15 minutes (due to phone or door), then being removed from the scenario wouldn't matter much anyway.

After all - it is 15 minutes we are talking about here.

Most evenings there's a new scenario starting every few minutes anyway so I don't see being booted for being idle as being that big a problem.

Last night, we were playing Doomfist Crater and got beaten to a pulp by destruction. They chased us back and were camping our spawnhill in castrange. Everybody foolish enough to jump down the slope was immediately shred to pieces. So I walked aroud up there, casting some stuff, even occasionally killing someone, when I received a "you are idle, you will be booted in 1 minute" message.

You clearly have no idea on what type of people are doing this do you?

The people generally doing this are doing it while they work and have access to a laptop/pc which can run WAR, hell the guy i sit next to at work plays WoW on the work pc and so do many people here when they are on breaks etc.
