Actually your idea might not be way off, have to find out why mother earth needs oil, then nuke something so it needs to make more oil

Care to explain that "mother earth needs oil" thing? :O
Again?
You just said that its a part of nature and therefore it is needed for something. How do you figure that? ;O
And i didn't say it "just now", i said it earlier. See now why i think you ignore most of the stuff?
For hels bells, you even quoted me on it.
What the hell does it matter when you said it? You still havent explained what you mean by that.
And for christsake just let it go already. You dont have to like me, but just discuss the topic or then get out. Cba with the bitter comments.
Though its not just petrol that comes from oils, its plastics and chemicals too but again there are alternatives.
But just so you don't answer that with another patented Gorb ignore:
"Well, just logical that oil is there naturally, then it should be there. So if we take a part of the planet away, planet will probably come up with a new thing to replace the loss or produce more. Somehow. But oil is part of nature and as such, it needs it for something."
Repost.
Any evidence to back up this vaguely worded statement?
Humanity is not natural, we are essentially a virus in the way we operate. To think that nature will naturally make up for our blunders 'somehow' is wishful thinking at best.
Oh i didn't mean it like that.
I meant that oil is a natural resource. Correct.
So it's logical to assume it's a part of earth.
It's also logical to assume that it's needed for something by earth.(otherwise what's the point of having it, unless it's waste, like siad, don't know)
So if it is needed, nature will find a way to replenish it or replace it, or, the whole planets f*cked.
Ah, well from my limited geography knowledge Oil is formed when the remains of carbon based lifeforms are compressed at high temperatures for a prolonged period of time, so it is essentially a waste product.
Ah, good to know and thanks for that.
That would mean though, that we could, as an extreme measure to say the least, start creating it ourself.
If indeed it's a waste of such, it shold replenish itself too, just, well, maybe we will have a dry spell of sorts.
I very much doubt that Self-made oil will be a realistic option for many many years.
Here's a link for anyone interested:

7,000 cal/g is produced using this method.
the conversion rate from cal/g to kj/kg is about ~4.1
so this method produces...
28,700 kj/kg (a kj is 1000 joules)
Petrol runs on about 4050 mj/kg.
Albeit my maths is probably wrong but this artificially-produced oil doesn't match the petrol we use for our cars but it is probably the most powerful artificial oil we have created thus far.
A good read up if you're bored and if someone would like to post the correct maths It'd be better![]()
The other fun part is the food situation - our farmers can make more money growing crops for fuels/random crops paid for by the european CAP, and we just buy food from poor countries, works great.
oh one problem, the people in those countries cant afford their own food anymore.
oops!
