Tis a P4, discovered too late that it had pci slot instead of agp.Honza said:The card you have is probably one of the best PCI available cards m8. tbh for any games from that computer's golden age MX420 is more than enough, for any newer games that computer as a whole is totally unusable... What is it? Pentium MMX?
As for older games, you could hardly find better piece of hardware.

What power supply do you use? You need atleast ATX 350W for 6600 series afaik.Fafnir said:Aye it looks like the top one, when i tried it on the older comp it just let out a shreak as i turned on the power, so turned it off, tried it on the new comp no problem. So guess my old comp needs a lower type card.

I just suggested it could be the problem since p4 requires much more power then AMD also,so p4 processor + 6600 videocard + some other devices and the limit could be overtaken.eggy said:I have a 250W mini psu in my Cube case and run a 6600GT with no problems.
Will return to the store and have a chat with them... But after reading up on the power bit it seems to be a problem..Bonelamencer said:I just suggested it could be the problem since p4 requires much more power then AMD also,so p4 processor + 6600 videocard + some other devices and the limit could be overtaken.
