PC went wrong

Hi all,

This morning turned on the PC, logged onto freddyshouse and I was reading a thread. The screen then went black and started bleeping, It said on the screen "BIOS error"
"Keyboard Error, don't have one connected or not functioning properly"

Or something along those lines anyway. So I turned it off and disconnected keyboard and inserted again. Turned it on and the same thing happened. So I went downstairs on the wii (my backup to use the internet incase pc breaks or stops working) and was about to post a thread on FH to ask for help.

But just turned onthe PC again and it ran fine.

Now every 1 or 2 days normally a blue screen comes up saying "beginning physical dump of memory" and I have to restart.

Don't know what is causing these problems but is there a way to prevent them?

thanks

Sounds like a cooling problem. Check temps, airflow and fans, look for any dust clogging things.

If it's not that it could be the motherboard.

The dump is what Windows does when something goes wrong. If you look in the event log (Start -> Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> Event Viewer) around the time when it happened you should find an entry with the error number and details

Physical Memory can also be the case of RAM.. How much you got in yer machine?

IF < 1024, I suggest you upgrade!
