Guys,

Dont know if this is possible, I have a GeForce 4 Video card and I want to set it up so that I can use the monitor to watch normal telly.

Never really seen this done before so,

1, i take it it's possible
2, what would I need to make it happen.

You either need a PCI or USB tv tuner. If you are getting one, you may as well get a capture unit and turn you PC into a PVR, as long as you have a bit of hard-drive space, as there's not much of a cost difference.
