I have an Idea.

Well i keep getting asked by people to repair there PC for any multitude of problems. The problem is that when i need drivers and other utilities it nearly always requires me to go home, and download them then to go back and fix the PC

What i was wondering is if anyone here knows where i can download loads and loads of Utilities, Drivers etc etc.. in one go.

Your best bet is to just burn a Cd with lots and lots of common drivers. Nivida, ATI, HP, etc. You can never tell what you're going to need unfortunatly, but most PCs that people own have generic bits and bobs.

I don't know of any specific site that will give you everything you need. I think it's a case of just running around the sites and downloading what you need.

Start charging people for this service and carry a laptop and connect to the internet via a mobile phone. Then you can download drivers etc as and when you need.

That is a very very good idea granny! A laptop and my T68i will be perfect for the job. Running round the net is going to take a while though, better get a move on.

You'd be there quite a while downloading larger files...
Much better to carry a modem lead and scank their phone line...

Heh my mobile connects at 9k. The speed almost touches that of our satallite connection in the office.
