pc freezes while zoning

As in topic, sometimes daoc freezes when zoning and in windows task manager you can see "program not responding"

Problems just appeared out of no where,

didn't changed my HW config at all or drivers....


Please help

Program not responding just means it's waiting for something. It doesn't always mean the program has crashed. If nothing has changed then I'd point the finger at the buggy unstable mess that is Windows. Do you get problems in other games/apps or just DAoC?
Also what programs are you running in the background?

I have the same problem.

I have a Celeron 1GHZ, 352 MB of ram (dont ask) and a 128MB Geforce 5200 FX

Puny as my system is i had no problems with daoc untill a week or so ago when the game seems to freeze sometimes on zoneing, i suspect server side problem if other people are getting it too.

It just so fking anooying

software incompatabilities get l8st drivers dx etc etc \o/

This problem is in the majority of cases related to.
a) overheating problems.
b) memory chip problems
c) hd drive problems

check these three and take it from there.
