My PC has started developing a few random errors.

Firstly:
It doesn't boot up and says I must insert a system disk.
A quick restart and it boots fine. Chkdsk doesn't report any errors either.
And then it boots fine for a week or so after that.

Secondly:
It tells me I have a keyboard error/can't find the keyboard.
The only way around this is to plug in a second keyboard (my spare isn't a USB) boot the pc then unplug the 2nd keyboard and all works fine again for a week or so.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

I get no other error messages at all...

Thanks!

Check the BIOS and make sure its not resetting stuff, could be the battery, especially if it resets after its been left for a while.

What sort of things should I check?
I don't really see anything that is "wrong" in the BIOS settings...

i7-950 3.06 GHz

Corsair 750 Watts CPU

Can't wait for delivery!!

Quite a step up from my old AMD 4600...
