I got the following Email on Friday on my registered Paypal Email address.

Subject : Dayne Jackson has just sent you 68.00 USD with PayPal

" This email confirms that Dayne Jackson has sent you $68.00 USD with PayPal.

To complete this payment, you must accept or refuse it within 30 days by clicking here.

If you do not accept or refuse this payment within 30 days, it will be cancelled and the funds will be returned to Dayne Jackson's account.

I got confirmation from Paypal that this email was dodgy. If u get something similar, u can fwd ur email to spoof@paypal.com.. they'll check if it's a genuine one.

Its not that hard to spot spoofs. PayPal makes it uber easy by never including links in their emails for you to click on. The vast majority of on-line transaction handling companies do the same. Easiest thing to do is never click on a link within an email, cos there is always a redirection behind the URL.
