Paying for music...

I'm perfectly happy to pay for any music that I download from iTunes or wherever, however when I buy it, I want it unprotected. I want to be able to copy it onto an MP3 CD to play in the car, want to be able to use it on Sony walkman. (Still all for my personal use - no different to playing a CD in the car).

Is there anywhere where you can buy/legally download music in MP3 format, or is there any way of removing the protection so you can convert AAC or ATRAC to MP3?

i download from napster as its £10 a month for as much as i want. Then i run it through this

£8 one off fee then it converts any protected WMA to MP3 and i can put hand on heart and say it works a charm, just put £100 worth of music on MP3 player last couple of days

Use tunebite myself, good programme got me through several thousand songs

I don't want to pay for music

but then again I mainly just listen to the radio if anything at all. Maybe bought 5 cd's total in my life...

and the last one I bought had some crap copy protection... and so happen I ain't got a player that is able to play those cd's... yeay 200skr down the drain

itunes lets you record tracks to cd audio. you can rip cds. work out the rest
