Hi

Im new to the game and i was just wondering if anyone knows if you can down load the latest patch without using the game as i only have a 56k modem and most of the time only connect at 44000 and my friend has adsl and will download the patch for me but i cant find it on the main web page , i dont no if any1 has seen how big the patch is but its 13.5 meg for me

I think there is no seperate download for the patch. afaik it's only possible through the game client. Unless someone has a way to identify all the added/changed files and zipped them up for you I guess.

nope, cannot.
when you log to game, it check your current version, and download updates.
there is no place where get i faster.

maybe move your computer to friend and build lan there, use his connection to upload?

Aye .. common problem with MMORPGs ... they update the code, and then wonder why people have problems.

Someone suggested you take your PC to your friends house & use his connection to update your game. Once patched, you could return home & enjoy.

Probably the best suggestion.

... or if they have a CD burner, ask them to burn an image of the installation directory, then overwrite your one with their files.... easier to carry a CD around than your pc
