Since ur a Berserker with high weaponskill and a lil over 50% parry you should be fine even against heavy tanks.

By the way wrong section ;)

Yea but the calc shows 52% without putting any points in parry at all.. Is this really correct?

(unless its changed)

parryrate = 5 + (((dex * 2) - 100) / 40) + (parry / 2) + mop

keep in mind that , High weapon skill penetrates parry easier.
you should aim for 55-60% parry rate

I have a question with regards to the block/parry % on Charplan

I have been playing my R3 Reaver and I have a question

I am not sure which is the correct %

At a base % with the 'alt. DEX calculation' ticked with the following results

+11 parry - 24.72% to Parry or Evade 36.99%
+11 bloack - 24.72% to Parry, Block or Evade 52.57%

Now, without the 'alt. DEX calculation' ticked it shows different values.

+11 parry - 36.45% to Parry or Evade 46.81%
+11 bloack - 36.45% to Parry, Block or Evade 66.2%

Ok now the Question: Which is the correct value?
or is the ticked 'alt. DEX calculation' for certain classes?

For example:

My reaver buffed up has the following stats

Strength 345
Constitution 289
Dexterity 359
Quickness 193

Spec:

44 flex
35 shield
17 parry
50 soul

Skill:

+11 Parry
+11 Shield

Realm Abilities

MoParry 5
MoBlock 5

With the 'alt DEX calculation' ticked I have the following:

44.72% to Parry or Evade 53.73%
53.72% to Parry, Block or Evade 78.59%

With the 'alt DEX calculation' unticked I have the following:

56.45% to Parry or Evade 63.55%
65.45% to Parry, Block or Evade 87.41%

I think its the 'alt DEX calculation' ticked, but I am not sure.
Can anybody tell me which is correct please?

Only reason I ask this is because I dont want to waste RA's on something I havn't needed.

While we're at it, 50 or 51 composite on weapon spec? Long time ago you were supposed to have 51.. Has this changed?

Also, having + in template on critical strike, leftaxe etc was also the shit.. Is that still needed to get wtfpwn damage?

It all depends on styles you use and for me 50 combined is enough not 51 imo.

always try get +11 in templates it does make a difference

If you plan on using Crit Styles then +11 would be nice.
If you do not plan on using crit styles and only use PA/CD or BS/TC you dont need to have +11 just try and make sure you reach combined 50 crit tho

51 composite for rr5+ , 50 until you reach rr5. as rr5+ your char is considered to be level 51, can easily check that effective dps on a 16.5 dps weapon at 50 is 16.2 due to clamped dps... at rr5 you will have 16.5, same with armor, why should there be lvl 51 armor if lvl 50 was the cap...
+cs is cool if you can manage to fit it into the template but the increase in style dmg and the bit of weaponskill (hit chance etc) is usually the first thing ppl sacrifice nowadays. its the least sacrifice so to say, you can still use and do alot of dmg with cs styles , and the weaponskill loss is not that hard because the styles like pa / cd you wont really miss even vs shield classes, and hammy chain has got high to hit bonus so also the weaponskill doesnt really make a difference in to hit chance , concering block / parry / evade it is ofc a small loss , but then again dual wield has now got a 25% block /parry /evade chance debuff on the opponent passively after the dw buff, so even that is neglectable...
