Actually many people who've met paris say she's rather a smart individual(hotel moguls daughter and all) and most of the stuff seen on TV are just an image to sell stuff(it sells) and that she really is, like your opinion of the DJ, "nice". Doesn't mean she's not a diva though, rich hollywood is.

Also if you take an image you want to sell to this day and age little girls and such, you need an image of a "totally awesome like fo'sha!" image to do so.

As such, paris is a perfect shining gem of an image that would sell. It's not like little girls would relate to a business suit wearing paris who speaks of how the monopoly industry is hurting the modern day finance scene with the dowjones being what it is
