this film is an absolute must see. its got it all from extreme brutal violence to cute and cuddly (sorry no necrophilia teeds :\).

if you dont mind reading subtitles, you really cant miss it. though to be fair, there doesnt seem to be that much dialogue in it and relys heavily on what you can see. infact one of the best scenes in the film has no dialogue at all for about 10 minutes or so.

from what i can gather on the net this is an amateur effort (though i could be mistaken) and for an amateur effort it blows all the big wigs right out the water.

im unsure if its based on a myth of some sort or it was created in a moment of genius.

Just seen it and it is indeed an awesome movie, best ive seen in a good long while. The girl playing the lead role is an amazing actor for someone so young, and the rest of the acting is top notch. Will have to keep a closer eye on the spanish moviescene in the future.

Actually mexican and a very well known and accomplished director. IF people liked Pan's they shoud definately check out Cronos and The Devils Bakcbone which IMO are his two other great films.

Saw this a while ago, utterly brilliant! Excellently made, awesome cinematography, great casting very atmospheric....loved it!

THIS IS A MUST SEE!!!!

One for the DVD collection, but go see it at the cinema!
