Panasonic just launched their new Toughpad, should have one very soon for testing.

I use a Panasonic CF-F9 for work and have to say they do take a lot of abuse and just keep on trucking.

Panasonic have been delivering great ruggedised gear for as long as I have been in the business, the amout of field guys using their stuff is impressive.

watched the vid...seems pretty rugged...a man's tablet (as opposed to a metrosexual politically correct ipad sheep)

Aha, time for an updated version of the Toughbook Challenge (where you hold a Toughbook in each outstretched arm and see how long you can keep them held up)

The CF-F9's, business rugged not fully rugged, are very light for a 15" at 3.6 Lb's and at least you have a handle to hold it with. There is also the lighter and smaller S10 model at 3 Lb's as well.

I reckon I could hold two F9's up for quite a while.

Get my Toughpad next week just in time for a trip to LA.
