The Panny GC would sit really well with Mini Hi-Fis and the like that many people have these days.

I managed to get to Cex in central London today and plonked my £20 deposit down for a Black or Purple one (they couldn't guarantee me a black one on the day).

Friday 3rd May here we come.





Oh, and I actually think that buying a Panny GC is potentially a good investment. Think about how much they could fetch at EBay's silly prices in a few years time .

yeah looks a little fisher price but is meant to just melt in to your hand - that miyamoto geezer spent a fair bit of time designing it, and i'm sure it'll be a fair bit more comfortable than the xbox's chunky effort

The Panasonic GC afaik has a DVD player as well, whcih the standard Nintendo GC doesnt.

The GC is a very, very good console. And the controller is the best and most comfortable controller out there. It looks a little odd to start with but it's so nice to use. When GCs come out here, I will consider a Q from Lik-Sang.

Here's hoping. It's not very likely from what I've heard, but you never know. I want a GC, and I have no "proper" DVD player so it'd be the perfect option. PS2 owners can go fuck themselves, the DVD playback on the PS2 is abysmal. Xbox? *laughs*

I dont notice any difference. Ive got the latest drivers for the PS2 DVD and everyone stated that these help with the quality.

Don't have the latest drivers yet but atm I have some problems with lip-syncing and a few frame-rate probs on certain films. Hopefully the new drivers will fix these.

Weird fix for the lip synching problem I heard about - save a game with Gran Turismo 3. Can't say I've ever noticed any problems with it, but then I have GT3
