Shieldspec is way much more needed in PvE than in RvR, i can usually solo a lvl51-53mob - i block approx 40% and parries some and he misses some. I used statz0r (a stat-program/calculator) and it showed that the orange mob hit me 28% of his blows

i prolly healed myself for 1k hp or summink too - so, pallys do great pve but less great in rvr

chants all the way to 49, if u dont then whats the point of playing a paladin in the first place. might as well go armsman if u aint gonna spec in your specialist line

very true Hatjitjai. I only played a 2h pally till 15 and then deleted him for respec to s/s.

My opinion was just number based so actually not a valid one.

in 1.48 pallies will get resistance chants

Any sort of simple / trainable pull would have been very usefull in PvE too
