Once me and some mates, very very bored, rang up an insurance agency.

If you are arranging a paintball day make sure you go somewhere reliable and that have the equipment and staff that make the day enjoyable, there are far too many cowboys out there. One of the best in the country is NPF at Bassets Pole in birmingham, I used to Marshall and play there alot... Its a good site, good gear and pay extra if you can and get one of the site Angels :) trust me you'll love it.....

oh and <pimp>

There was an earlier comment about sad people who took paintballing too seriously. I think it applies here.

Why would I want to take you? your smell would give away our position. Actually we'd need another car to carry troops to the glorious battlefield, your hyundi coupe (although inferior to my new peugeot 306) will be part of the APC convoy.

We all have our vices Bodhi :) this just happens to be mine. Its a sport like any other (actually thats a lie, its not officialy recognised as a sport yet, but its well on the way). I also dont play against recreational players (ie the people who organise a day for thier mates). <shrug> each to their own

would that be the paintball equivilent of a flamethrower, a paint thrower. Maybe we could add dulux carpet bombing to the game. "I love the smell of magnolia emulsion in the morning!"

Jsut got back a while ago from paintballing.

Weather could have been better, lots of rain and some wind. PLaying in the mud wasnt taht bad thoough, added to the atmosphere.

CTF, type games became mainly a standoff, but still fun. We had 4 different arena's, 3 for CTF and one for Fotress (attack or defend the fortress). Fortress was by far the best game type, both as attackers and defenders and they gave us smoke grenades as well.

Twice I managed to get into high sniper towers and had a lot of fun.

On the whole the day cost me £45, I used 600 paintballs and played 9 games.

My only tip is that stealth and camping work well, and dont use supression fire because you'll just run out of ammo and have to buy more.

Hehe sounds like a right laugh actually :)
We've tried to organise one for our bike shop , but the boss is mental so we've shyed away from it. Perhaps we should organise a day without telling him . Trouble is, hes got to pay for it ...
