I work in recruitment advertising - PSP is quite a growing tool among web designers, but as you say laughed at amongst the graphics (usually print) design fraternity (they are stuck with Mac, PS & Illustrator)

I think that PSP has its image problem due to the shareware licence and poor early versions.

The odd occasion i use PSP is mainly for some pixel work on icons etc.
