Help page of text -> editable on screen

OCR is i believe what its called

basically :

take a page of actual book... scan... insert into software.. can edit it etc

the pages in question are typed font, not some scrawl, but do contain pics , so

1- any suggestions on something that can do both ?
or
2- any good text-only ones , with or without optional picture suggestions ?

What he said. We've got a fujitsu scansnap in the office and it uses that and it works pretty well on typed text.
