They are open ended questions, with no real right or wrong answer as such. I suppose they are more interested in how you answer the questions as opposed to what the answer actually is.
Having never attended a lecture at Oxford or Cambridge i have no reference to compare their teaching style with the one i am currently being taught. Though in all fairness the interview i had to get my place at Surrey ended up being a chit chat with a lecturer about science in the media. Not sure whether being asked about the price of a teapot would show my interested in the subject i applied for.

Think someone's missed the point. Two things cannot be unique compared to something else. They can only be similar or identical, uni = 1.

Perhaps "characteristic" teaching styles would have been better, rather than "unique". TBH, in the real world, work experience > what university you went to.
