I think your are refering to chocobots, it was the simpsons episode where the kids made a tv program, and bart becomes the better anchor man outshining lisa, the program is then pulled of the air and replaced by chocobots. after lisa makes bart goto a junk heap where grounds keeper willy lives after bart destroyed his shack.

Nope that's not the one. The cartoon I believe they are reffering to is where the Simpsons go to Japan. So 'phnar'.

This all came about from an actual Japanese kids cartoon, years ago (remember). It was so fast moving that several epileptic kids actually had seizures whilst watching it.
