He co-wrote the Royal Tenebaums and Rushmore, and was an associate producer on As Good As It Gets...

In interviews I've seen with him he is more intelligent and funnier than any of the characters I have seen him portray. Don't hate him because the writing of the films he has appeared in is rubbish, or the casting people put him into the films.

IMO the films mentioned above are some of the best films released in the last 10 years or so. Please don't judge him on You, Me and Dupree. Let's face it, we'd all take the pay cheque he would have done for that one.
