Title says it:

Over charged spell crafted gear
fully procced armour
buff bots
potions
buffbots wearing toa buff enh gear.

The sad fact is there is a lot of ppl who use all the above to get some sort of satifaction from owning other players.

Ok most dont, but why do ppl feel the need to play the game in GOD mode.

Then we rate them as the top bg players, why beacuse they can PA you for 300 and have 720 hits. Or shoot you for 200 an arrow and kill a tank in 3 shots.

Flame away at me if you wish, i care not :drink:

FYI - Armour procs are listed as 'Reactive' if you don't understand still. They can't be used at anything less than lvl40.

At the end of the day its down to competativeness. Some people are more competative than others. Those who use Buffs to gain and edge (i'm not going to touch the other things you mentioned because those can be gotten by anyway, not just those who can afford a bot) are simply more determined. And as you've shown, its not fun to get killed.

And if you'll excuse me, you obviously do care about this otherwise you wouldn't have made a post trying to damn those who don't just wear the /level armour when going to Thid.

I do most the things i have mentioned.

Feel fine when i meet an equal enermy.
But i really do feel guilty when I get/or emote to get a fight and find out the enermy has no buffs.

Yes I feel bad when I 3 shot a poor hunter when i played me champ last night, maybe it just me. I proably getting soft in me old age.

TBH there are two different ways of viewing this. If you are a player that enjoys grouping in BG, then there's no real need to bother with a BB, but having your weapon and/or shield procced can assist a little.

If you run solo, then having a BB and correctly SC'd armour is well worth doing. For a start it generally means you spend more time alive than eating dirt, and is great to assist when that 1v1 suddenly turns into a 5v1 not in your favour ;)

I accept the original poster is annoyed about the current state of affairs, but there's really no need to be. Just accept that people play in different ways and move on :)

when i started using a buffbot in BG1, it wasn't so that i could try and kill FGs. but that there were no solo alb stealthers whatsoever (or even solo non stealthers). so in order to not be farmed by them, i got buffs.

this is of course not the reason for all buffbotted people, but for some it is.

1)1st buffbot came to thid, that person nowhas the edge over others (and a quite considerable one),
2)People get sick of losing so also bring a buffbot/see him winning and think its a good idea
3)Everyone has a buffbot

I now have a buffbot, after 2 yrs of playing this game i finally surcame to the trend since tbh at level 50 solo you have no chance watsoever without one (i have seen a rr6 sb lose to a rr3 just cus he had a bb to put it into context)

Buffbots are here to stay as goa/mythic want their pockets filled, adapt move on.

And on the unfair fight my sb in 5 hrs of gaming only had 3 solo encounters with no adds (one of which had a nice cleric who healed for a bit then ran off) to put things into perscpetive for u

"Armour procs are listed as 'Reactive' if you don't understand still. They can't be used at anything less than lvl40"

Some ROG armour drops in TOA have lvl 30+ DD reactives, used them on my ranger in bg3 a while back.
Farm the statues and harpies on the Evaemus Isle just south of Hesperos Haven and you'll get a few, mostly arms, sleeves, helms and gloves, never seen a chest piece though.

I hated Bonedancers and sorc's with buffed pets more than I hated buffed infs/SB's in the bgs ;)

My BG Bot has 12% Buff Bonus, but it does nothing at all, so kinda pointless :)

+ % buff enhancement at lvl 24 doesnt have any point really cause you'll cap on all your buffs with 24+5 enhance anyway. Not sure about buffs on pets tho.
