it is unnaceptable by GOA. I lost about .7 on lvl 48 and had to get my mini back. I do know lots of people though that lost a hell of a lot more.

If my memory serves, there was a roll back like this quite a while ago, and GOA granted some xp back to players for what happened.

Can't see why they couldn't do this now as its quite a nasty roll back imo.

I can see why English servers came up last.. so they could go home and ignore all the emails to rightnow i bet

I will be sending complaints if only to annoy them.

I lost 16lvls on a healer back to L20 from 36 when the server went down...

Not end of world but if you go up early just to get grp in lair is fucking anoying to lose it becous goa can't make a backup within ~10hours befor the patch...

Actually, it sort of does... One patch day the servers were down for most of the day, and every char was given a bunch of exp. Think I was 39 on my theurg back then, maybe April 2002.

Regarding the duping rumors, I must say that it sounds incredibly stupid to attempt such a thing. I believe I saw that all items have a tag that identifies the item for what it is, so a dupe should be very easy to track down. Weather or not GoA will ban those accounts is another matter but I sure hope so.

The higher-level chars (my 39 being one of them) only got enough exp for a bubble or two (back in those patches, a bubble on 39 was HOURS of exping). The ones under 30 got enough to bump them to (1pt under) the next level.

It was one point over, not one point under, so like with /level you'd get your level by doing anything that forces the system to actually look at your exp bar, ie. kill a grey or click on your trainer.

The patch time taken on GOAs servers is nothing to do with it.

The same patch caused major problems on Mythics servers - servers were down most of the day and then yoyo'd up and down for a while getting another few problems ironed out.

As an apology for this Mythic granted all chars some xp.

When GOA received the patch the extra xp was also given to characters on their servers.

As for how much xp it was - all chars received the same "number" of xp - up to a maximum of what they required to level. Noone gained a level - you just had to kill a grey/green/whatever or earn xp in any other way to make the level-gaining code kick in.

Fallen Archer´s Dagger ( pre-version 1.63), I was supoosed to have farmed this on the night of sunday/monday. For those of you that don´t know this one:
1 h thruster (alb) that has gfx of a thrust polearm. Imo it looks wicked with a shield and a pole. It was fixed in 1.63, but the ones that had dropped pre 1.63 weren´t.
