What's you're QB?

got 2 qbs for rvr....

qb with 3 songs, 2 instruments, unmezz, AM, purge, single and group heal
another qb with /face, area mez, lul, area lul, insta mez, area insta mez, single heal, group heal, dd shout - dd and lul for interupting casting of spells

Some people have said this seems a strange setup but it works just fine for me

1-4 drum lute end and speed, for twist, rest boofs.

ive got 5 and ill list what i can remember..

1 - face dd aoe mez insta 1 insta 2 FA AM lul aoe lul

2 - face dd aoe mez heal 1 heal 2 end song drum cure mez lul

3 - songs in no particular order with cure mez cure poison cure dis

4 - buffs and rezes and instas (potions, mcl etc)

5 - face dd insta 1 lul aoe lul chant (depends on what im fighting) weapon and then styles


what i keep meaning to do but havent done it yet is rearrange qb1 to the order that i actually use things in ! (the secret btw is just to lul a group leader then cast aoe mez...dont listen to that 47 music nonsense..instas4tahlame)

OK, not going into detail on which icon is where, just which is on each QB. btw, since i'm old-school folks i still have all those things on my QB which you can assign to keys nowadays, but it's hard to change something you are used to:

QB1: sprint, face, stick, cast aoe-mezz, cast single-mezz, insta-aoe, insta-single, lull, aoe-lull, purge

QB2: sprint, face, stick, dd, demezz, spec-heal, base-heal, group-heal, cure poison, BP-crystal or mana-pot

QB3: Instruments, Songs, enter-macro, Weapon (yeah, right), ress+ress-macro and Confuse(!)

QB4: buffs ( both versions), cure disease

QB5: AM, FA, MCL, Purge, other BP-items etc

I recentyl redid my qb's, used to have about 7 or them and used about 3-4 per encounter. Bit inneficient.

Those are my 2 main qbs i use in a fight, got about another 2 with buffs, rez, cure disease, fa2 etc. on em. Oh and one with /stick, weapons and the lvl 1 blunt style on it (got 2 in blunt atm) dd shout etc. for when i hit something (never, but u never know when i might need to)

ouch...my qb's are madness...

I sorta divide them up on situations, like 3 is for getting into keeps, 4 is heal/cure focussed, 2 is grp fghts. Then I got other ones for buffs etc...but on the whole it is mad switching QB's all the time. Bound /face /stick on my kb next to directional keys, a bit like quake.

i was hoping to see some bar set up that i hadnt thought of and think..wow thats great (divinias for example)..

there are bars up there without lul (do you know how useful that is ???!!!!) and heals !!!

10)sex chat group macros..kidding, 10 is crafting shit

but I use all these bars on a daily basis, cept the confussion bar and the gall bars, but I use those 2-3 times a week

Ok, so most poeple bards seem to have area mez on their QBs which is cool.... Question is, why dont half the bards in hib use it?

PS. Note to some bards... keep those weapons tucked away when grouped in rvr please play songs, mez, lul, and if poss heal

Is that good or bad?

And spankya, Im only having the blade there for my soloing purposes err.. i mean suiciding in rvr-areas where i might find a mage or 2 on my way to enemy keep

Hehe, yeah I had a sword too on Spankya just incase I bumped into a solo person But lately, I've been a few groups where we run at a load of enemies, and normally a bard would mez, play end etc, but instead gets sword out and starts hitting people Quite funny to watch though, but u normally die
