OST to PST

Hi folks,

I have an .ost file which i believe was created in office 2003, I need to get in converted to a .pst file. I have had a look about the net to see if i can find something to do this but all I can find is pay to use software. Is anyone aware of a way to do this freely?

Ah that old chestnut. The problem is that it's not an intended purpose. OST's are often stores of company emails and converting it in to an easy to access PST bypasses the security often associated with linking to an exchange server. There used to be a program called ost2pst that claimed to do the job after some jiggery pokery and free too - in the 3 or 4 times I've had to do this it never worked. The only thing that did was one of the pay ones.

I *think* OST to PST Conversion Tool - Convert Exchange OST to PST File worked. There's a demo that should tell you what it can find if it can find it - though obviously only do this on a copy of the original OST.
