Get an optical microsoft mouse. Dont buy wireless ones if you play FPSs due to lag.

American Mouses

Best mouse have found so far is a IBM Optical mouse picked up last time i was in America. I have about 10 mice at home (I have been looking for one to replace my 2+ year old logitec one) and this IBM mouse is amazing. Works on bumpy surfaces and still reads well (ok not well enough for CS but still :) ) and it has the wierdist feature ever it has a blue LED under the mouse wheel to give it a weird IBM blue feel.

Not seen it over in the UK yet, although I haven't really been looking since i found it.

I'm trying out a intelli explorer v3 atm. Works a lot better than the older versions imo. Also the intellipoint drivers are good that allow you to assign buttons differently depending on the application you run. I've been playing Q3 on it and it feels pretty good in game.

I'm not totally convinced however. I like my Boomslang 2k better but I constantly have to clean the beast out and the drivers still not out for XP, still glitchy problems on the 2k ones.

I have a version 3. As well as a really old one and one from about a year ago so maybe I have 1, 2 and 3 :)

3s are great mice.
