awwww maaaaan when the old pilot was saying about the photo Spitfire "this is the most beautiful machine, with no guns (no guns!!!) to mar it's lines, like a butterfly" all the while touching the leading edge of the wing with his old hands, and then later, they display a picture taken from above a bomber showing the flak and tracer ammo being deployed against the air force, depicting exactly what shit they had to deal with. stuff like that had me welling up and blubbering in to my tea ffs. I'm going soft in my old age :/
