OpenGL n D3D Problem

i installed a new ati radeon 1700 yesterday and now im gettin problems...i immediately thinkin its to do with the graphics card ive tried to configure it but it aint workin. i select opengl and wen i connect to a game (cs) 10 seconds into it it disconnects and says overlowed. i can sometimes play with d3d but only 800x600 which sux ass but with d3d on all the other modes it doesnt come up with a msg... is this a grapics card problem or internet problem or wot?? help!!

Have you tried the ATI patch, should be on this site somewhere, or there are links to it on counter-strike net.

it comes with the latest opengl n d3d drivers im d/l a new opengl driver now ... hope it works cuz i cant play with 800 x 600 all the time? do u no wot overflowed means?

Yes its because you need the CS ATI fix, or the server will kick you for what it thinks is cheating.
