I loved the first one, used to spend hours making missions, released a few of them on the 'net years back, was a great game!

As long as they keep the solid and "easy to use but hard to master" mission editor I reckon I will love this one too

Ah yes Armed Assault, read about that years ago and it never looked like it would come out. Seemed a bit Duke Nukem Forevery.

Will definitely try it.

This is probably my last great hope in PC gaming. A bit OTT maybe but definately true

I adored OFP, it still remains my favourite game ever and have fond memories going through various PC upgrades to get it to run well. Im half tempted to reinstall GOTY edition. Never did finish Resistance in all honesty.

One of my funniest moments was sniping will in the face from 200 meters after hed sneaked into OUR objective town.

I will be upgrading my aging 3500 64 for this probably with Core Duo but im hoping my XT1900xtx will be grunty enough, minimum means fuck all usually and with OFP it means even fucking less.

Paul: Negotiations for a UK publisher are ongoing and we anticipate an announcement shortly. We're also looking into the possibility of making Armed Assault available via an online pay and download system. An single-player demo and an multiplayer demo are planned and will most likely be released prior to the full game going on sale.

Have you seen the trailer for it? There are like 100+ soldiers on the screen including vehicles and all that
I loved the original too but it looks too old now for me to play. Yes graphics are everything to me

I liked using the editor to make the line of sight so far that you can see "everything"(the 'setviewdistance=2000' command or whatever it was), that started to put a dent in the old FPS when you add in the massive amounts of units as well
