There's an awful lot of shite on that list. I'd say Star Trek and the Dark Knight would be the only ones I'd actually go and see. And Kill Bill volume 3? I thought we'd already had three Kill Bills?

Never thought I'd say this, but there's too many comic book movies (I will go and watch Captain America and Whedon's Avengers though), and too many sequels, particularly some of those necro-franchises (Ghost Busters? Beverly Hills Cop? Jeezus).

In regards to bad sequels, well, as i said, can't think of many.

All shitter than their forebears. Of course there are good sequels, but there are very rarely franchises that get past three films and still stay on a high. And I can't really think of many recent remakes that have been superior to the original (I can think of quite a few older remakes, but only The Departed and 3:10 to Yuma in the last few years, and I'm not actually sure either is actually better than their originals, although they're both decent films).
