Why do peolpe have this realy stupid habit of claiming they could "beat <such and such> in a fight"?

Firstly: Is anyone impressed by it?

Secondly: How can you work that out from a forum?

i dont feel stupid, its not a threat of physical violence its mostly posted for fun.

i dont want people to be impressed by it..

both asking how i worked it out, well in all honesty i dont think my hand speed is within normal peoples comprehension and as the pic shows im pretty big :/
