I still dont see anyone giving any reasonable argument as to why the Samurai would win, other than Just cause, or they roX and katana....Now

1. We've already told you, katana wont even dent chain mail...
2. Viking weapons, although they might not penetrate samurai armour, they will still deal one hell of a punch,
3. Vikings used big ass shields, so again, samurai swords & arrows are useless
4. Vikings were bigger = bettter reach, their axes were longer = added reach

lastly, forget what you think you know about samurias from movies. no they werent karateh masters, no they could not fly....they were however disiplined soldiers...and lighting fast with a sword...but put up against, a Viking No I'm sorry they would be flattened on the spot.

Yeha, I have seen the simulation. And as stated by them themself, the battle would be so close between those two. So hard to tell whoever wouldve won.

I don't agree with alot of them. Like how they lined Ninjas vs Spartans, why the heck would a ninja fight a spartan head on? Thats just stupid.

Same goes for the viking vs samurai, both the longsword and their axe is favoured(When it comes to damage dealt). But how he is even managing to miss when the samurai is on his back, god knows(Samurai armor is from 27kg+, this without the weapons, while most chainmail(Chest area part), is 10kg). Which should make the viking having an easier way to move around.

and 2nd of all, no viking nor samurai would bring every freaking single weapon they got in the historical weapon arsenal. As alot of the fighting vikings specialist in mostly one kind of weapons (Sword viking/Axe viking with spear as a seconddary weapon.)

Depends on the viking and depends on the samurai( a failed bodyguard btw ).

Vikings(the fighters) were trained from birth, just like a samurai, to fight.

You can cut through chainmail, but with a moving target that's trying to kill you, it's not as easy as one would think, even for a well trained soldier.

Also, all vikings weren't big lumpy masses of muscle and moved to a speed equal to what a samurai would. Some would even prefer not to wear armor ude to the hinderence. Are we also talking archer, throwing axe, shield or no shield, spear, etc? A viking archer would take out a silly samurai waving a penis from quite a distance

On theory, it's easy to say "samurai would win cause all ninja like", but vikings aren't something to just dismiss over some arhaic stereotypes.

BTW Ch3t, many/most vikings drank honeymead, which was ok for a muslim to drink too.
