It got old I agree with that and some of the *specials* were a bit turd but its the characters that hold a special place in my heart. Del Boy reminds me of my dad sometimes

So it's just been announced that Nicholas Lyndhurst will play Del & Rodneys dad, Freddy. I remember the episode of OF&H when there was a black and white photo with Lyndhurst photoshopped in as the dad and it freaked the shit out of me.

Also, the Gobby one out of the inbetweeners is playing Del.

As said, quite liked it personally. Also rather liked *bits* of Green Green Grass, but like most modern comedy, most of it is flat on it's face.
Also, Phil Daniels in it - there's some decent acting talent going on. Wonder how it'll actually work in practice.

Only Fools was something I could take or leave. Here and there some good laughs, occcaionally some standout great humour. I'd watch it if it was on and I happened to not want to be doing anything else but never made a date with the TV to watch it.

I can't see a prequel doing it any favours. Some things when they die should just be let to lie.

Only Fools wasn't the greatest thing ever but it's certainly above average when compared to some of the other shit that's been passed for TV programming over the years.
