Ive use Barclays Banking onlinbe and it can get quite fussy.

You have to use the buttons on the web page to navigate yourself around the site. If you use your browsers back /forward buttons it takes it badly.

The security features try and prevent any unauthorised logins and using the forward/back buttons on your browser makes it think this is happening.

The only way of fixing it is ordering a new set of login details...

Except that most sensible online banking doesn't suspend your access if you press the back button. ;)

Heh.

Ive used Barclays online shit since it was launched (uh, too many years now), Ive ignored the 'dont use the back button' stuff frequently (by accident and because it hasnt caused problems previously) and had no problems with it.

Smells like a load of bollocks to me.

The only time the barclays website fooked up for me was when i entered the wrong code 3 times on the trot.

You simply need to phone them up and ask for a new code number which you should recieve in about 4 days.

I use nationwides internet banking system and its pretty easy to use,
with little or no downtime. Only thing is that in FireFox it doesnt *
out the drop down passcode boxes but does in ie
its no biggy though as your password is starred out, you never enter your full pass code and I only ever use it on my machines in private anyhoo

Heh useless. I've only used Barclays telephone banking once and that was to sign up for telephone banking. So I finally have a reason to use it so I dial the number and get "Unfortunately due to a fault this service is currently unavailable". Guess they felt like a day off.
