This Film looks as though it is going to seriously kick some arse.

I was expecting it to be some dancing on tree's crap but the trailer shows this isnt the case. All of the stunts you see are done by the actor and he isn't supported by strings or CGI imagery, it isn't a mainstream release and is out next week, but if you can find a cinema that is showing it I recommend you go see it.

Its gonna be an 18 Cert film and there is a trailer for it here.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/films/trailers/ you need realtime to view it but the UK trailer is better than the US version.

Any idea on whether it's the uncut Thai version or the sliced American release?

I saw the former a while back and I quite enjoyed it, although it's one of those films that seemed to drag despite the near continuous and often frenetic action... I mean, I like martial arts/Streets-of-Rage-style movies more than most, but there's only so many people you can watch get beaten up before all that crunching starts to blur into one big long bundle.

That said, it is a good film in an old-school, sub-Bruce kind of way and certainly gives some of the more recent 'action blockbusters' a punch in the chops. Also, iirc it was the director's first film which makes it all more impressive I guess.

got mine a heckl of a while back and traded it with some other dvd on dvd forums as well.

and yes it does drag alot and maybe not the classic drunken master is. but its mainly a show peice for martial arts like fast and furious is a show piece for custom cars

may i also suggest you guys check out kung fu hustle, its classic that the whole family can enjoy

it might be the uncut version as it is rated 18. The Reason I say this is because the BBFC seem to have relaxed their ratings quite a lot and we rarely see 18 cert films these days.

infact most 12A cert films we get these days would have been given a 15 a few years ago.

Violence still gets rated high, but sex and profanity are common enough in 15 and starting to go lower.

This film is pretty good, though it does drag :p You can't go wrong with a rikshaw chase!

Saw this at the cinema last wednesday. It's fucking top class action. I'm not even a huge fan of martial art films but this one is definitely worth seeing.
