Of yeah the case from one plus is awful. I'm trying to get a refund, their own forums are full of bad reviews of it. The drizkin case and a tempered glass screen protector seem to be the way forward.

Price, at 269 for the 64gb model it's cheaper than any if it's top end competitors.

Specs, the specs are great. Only the htc m8 really compares and htc compromised on the camera.

I've had it for a couple of weeks now and i love it, easily the best phone I've used.

The only downer is the lack of band 20 lte support, which means no proper 4g for Europe.

The screen is brilliant, better than that on the m8, moto x and z3 - this is based on side by side comparison's at work where we have all the above between my colleagues. I'm used to IPS from my Xperia Z, it is an adjustment from ameoled as the colors are truer and not not overblown by high contrast and brightness.

Sounds quality is very good for calls, with two noise cancelling mics. And variety life is excellent, can easily go a day and a half without needing a charge.

One Plus get a lot of criticism in their forums for a lack of support, if you buy you need to remember they are a start up. They are still finding their feet and ramping up in scale very quickly. I've browsed their forums and there seems to be a mixture of fake scaremongering and unreasonable demands making up the majority of complaints. They gave released their second OTA upgrade to fix known issues this month, which means they've had roughly an update a month. committed to keeping cynagenmod for the opo up to Theyopodate, and are helped by the large community CM already had releasing builds and fixes.

It is big, but you get used to that quickly.

You reminded me that I still had not received my phone. So I went checking. Turns out it is with the mail forwarder in Shanghai, the stupid feckers shipped it without a name or account number on the package, despite me providing the full details and options on 3 different addresses. Luckily their customer support gave me the tracking info and my mail forwarder was able to find the package and assign it to me. Should get it in 3-5 days.
