Ever had one of those ? dosent need to be anything big, just one of tho's evenings you'll never forget ..

I had one Last saturday,
We had our Company Dinner, at the owners place, the owner, his parents & sister, a coleage and my self with Gf's and spouses included, now we all know each other and all get along well, the food was exelent, and Nordic inspired
from a place called nordens køkken...

now ofc, we are a Wine/spirits & specialities shop.... so guess what? The Bevrages where bloody damn awsome, hehe.

As my Gf and I arrived after being picked up at Our place, we "that'd be me as the GF is L'pregnant" where served 2 glasses of some of the best champange I've ever tasted, after that a couple starters acompanied by some fantastic chardonnays "one was corked :S, the Main Corseses where served with 3 red whines a french, an Italian and an Australian, at this point, we had a blind tasting, and what a tasting!! "no one guessed it" and I have to admit, I've tasted, and chances are I'll never taste anything quite like it again. desert "Ris á l'amnde" was served with port and the evening capped of with a grappa and an Islay Whisky...and to top of the night a soothing Beer. ;)

for those of intrest, here's a cronological of the evenings wines:

Champagne
- Eric Rodez "millésime" Brut 2000
- Veuve Clicquot Brut vintage 1985

I slept a happy happy man..

Very awesome night :)

Kistler is Californian iirc?

2nd wine of Leoville las Cases from 2000 - nice :) Had the '96 a year or so ago, was stunning.

Had Flor de Pingus a couple of times yet never Pingus itself.

Nice to have the Veuve with that age. Absolutely love old champagne.

And infanticide on the port :p '94 great year!

Very jealous :)

Have already spent many hours working out what I'm drinking on Christmas Day.
