Well I dunno bout the other boards but I'm using a KX7-333 with an SB live and i've had zero problems in XP pro or in redhat tbh My first kx7-333 broke down but I'd blame scan for that... my replacement is running great TBH... I also bought it because I didn't want any shit like raid, onboard sound, graphics, lan etc

me now has new mobo, an asus A7V8X. the model without raid and gigabit ethernet and stuff though it does have USB2, ieee1394 and a 10/100MBit on-board ehternet adapter. also got a stick 'o 400Mhz ram to go with, though it's massive overkill heh. does it's thing nicely though I'm a tad unhappy about the [untweaked] 3dMark scores, which are a brush inder 10k. games look and feel brilliant and snappy though. I suppose some tweaking should be in order but I really cba. lazy me
