They were at E3 this year and dayum.

1-16 players over the net in a beat em up?

It was like over the shoulder view, and had the 90ft tall bots and whatnot... but 3D and stuff... heh it's been a while.... anyway IGN, Gamespy etc been all over it... should be good - any other opinions?

OMF.com is the place to find it. Comes out this summer I think.

Okay here's the deal.. The development team is 6 core people and that's not much - they are underdogs trying to bring a different game to PC, and to reignite the and reinvent the fighting genre on the PC... A violent game without violence - no blood n guts.

Give em a break, cos they've worked their arses off making their own engine from scratch etc...

I've visited them in their humble offices and seen their home-made mocap studio, met the lead developer's business manager/mother who's a sweet lady and is trying her hardest to make Diversions Entertainment a pinnacle of quality. They have a sister company called Diversions Publishing who are taking in people as themselves - developers who don't want to release a rushed, half-assed game.

Anyway, have an open mind and check it out for yourself. I'm gonna go test it again

in fact ANYONE who DOESNT buy the game is going to get a midnight visit from wij every night untill they DO.

I didn't come here to be hated on thankfully you're not a bunch of penises - I can understand why you wouldn't like people like me - people trying to advertise - but this is my only one. Only because I was hopin to drum up some interest from a decent bunch of brits - maybe enough people will buy and barrysworld etc will start hosting OMF servers - and all will be fun! PhreakyByNature, sorry for being a bit harsh, maybe, but if you want to plug a game - which I wont deny is difficuly when you're a newbie - don't dress it up. Just get to the point, give us a link to some screenshots or something - but not just a blind link to the main website.

It probably helps to say "I promise on the life/grave of my mother than I'm not an advertising bloodsucker" too. Cause they exist, and they do the rounds. They "pretend" to be fans of games, basically trying to fool us into thinking that someone is genuinely interested - which translates as treating gamers with the respect that.. I don't know about examples, something American and the world or something.

whykt, there are many release dates around on ebgames.com etc and u can preorder now. Sometime june or july I think is about right.
